I needed this for a 10 inch (diag) tablet on a stationary bike. After receiving it, I can say it is well built, with added strength at the bar clamp and at the tablet clamp. What they don't really mention is the tablet clamp is spring loaded, with more than enough grip to hold a tablet in place for a stationary bike. But, I'm not so sure it would be adequate for an outdoor bike; probably a street bike, but not an off-road. For off-road, you'd need all four sides held in place. Otherwise, very pleased and I believe it will last a long time. The only weak point is likely the ball joint. The ball joint is plastic on plastic, which we all know will not last forever, as the plastic will weaken and break. So, we'll see, but likely that will go out in a few years. That not a big issue for the price point. The instructions also were not quite clear enough on the assembly of the ball joint - you actually have to force the ball into the threaded nipple assembly, making the assembly expand slightly, then tighten down the threaded collar. This is slightly different from any other manufacturer.
