They are very thin and will probably work with most laptops, tablets etc. The measurements are on their website so you can see if they will fit before you purchase them. My laptop has a microphone opening on each side of the webcam lens so it was important that they had the measurements. They do not interfere with the lid closing at all since they are so thin. Make sure to clean the surface from dirt and grease before sticking them on to be sure they stay stuck. They slide open and closed very easy and honestly I can't even notice it on the black bezel around the screen. The reason for me getting them was because I installed new anti-virus software and sometimes it would alert me that my "webcam access was blocked". I'm not sure why the anti-virus was detecting that...but that is the reason I bought these...just to be sure. They seem like a well designed quality product.
