This is a sharp piece of functional equipment. It is right at home on a nice desk and the swivel feature of the base is convenient. The angle adjusts nicely too!This would be so great if it were a lot larger to actually hold a cookbook. Very pretty to hold a tablet but not worth 50.00 for that use. If this were half the price, I'd say it was worth the price as it is very nice but it's very very small.What kind of textbook / cookbook for ants are you trying to put on this thing?? Unacceptably tinyI love this little stand! It's small, but the perfect size for an open 6-ring "personal" or A6 sized binder/planner. It adjusts to a wide range of viewing angles, and the base is great for storing pens and other small items. Because I keep mine adjusted to a high angle, I was able to fashion a cardboard pencil cup that stores 11 highlighters upright, and can still fit a *second* 1/2" ring A6 binder, a large ink bottle, some correction tape, and a pack of gum back there - with a little space to spare! And because it revolves, all it takes is a little push access all those tools. Genius!I will purchase again. Work great with small tablets and books.This is a beautiful wood, sturdy, and the storage is nice. However, this is MUCH smaller than the picture suggests. It says you can use it for a cookbook but I have no clue how one would even stay on it! I bought it to use with my Bible but it was way too big to make it work. This would be great for a phone or ipad.I bought this for my wife who enjoys reading her Bible every morning with her first cup of coffee. Usually she has to use whatever is on the table as a prop for her Bible, so when I saw this Stand and Holder Carousel I thought it would make a great Christmas gift for her. And it is very nice, beautiful and well made; with a nice finish to the wood. The only problem is it is tiny. It is VERY small, capable of holding only small to medium size books at best. The shelf at the bottom is only a 1/2 inch high. Sure I glanced at the dimensions on the product description, but I guess it just didn’t register. The pictures and opening description made it seem much bigger, capable of holding larger books. Now if the stand came in a larger size that could hold a large Bible or cookbook I would consider buying it. But for now the only thing this small stand has going for it is it’s cuteness.I was expecting to be just a little bigger. I did read Jay’s review but thought surely it would be ok.I’ll keep it to use for my iPad and will use it for my bible but I wanted something bigger for my Bible.It is sturdy and lightweight but very small.Perfect stand for a 10.5” tablet. Beautifully finished polished wood, very sturdy and rotates on circular axis. The lip is more than deep enough for a tablet but is not intended for thick books (although it would take a medium sized book easily). There is a small space for storage inside and holes front and back for charging leads. Rotation function is great but it remains stable when positioned. Axis circle underneath is covered so it won’t scratch furniture. 5 slots inside allow for angle changes. Exactly what I was looking for after some bad experiences with unstable metal stands. Really thrilled with it!This bookstand is very beautiful. However, it's not appropriate for the purpose I purchased this for. It's very small! I purchased it to read my holy scripture which is not possible even with the small copies I have (8 inches by 6 inches). This is well made but is only appropriate if you are reading a thin small book. Now it will stay in my pantry holding a small cookbook, perhaps.Good for books, tablets, and phones. It can also work as laptop stand. I replaced the screw as it loosened after about a year. Box is useful to keep keys and wallets. Well-designed and made with good finish to the detail.I bought this book stand for my parent, everything was so smooth from placing the order to receiving it. Quality, finishing and the size are all perfect. The position and the angle are perfect everytime my parent uses it, and plenty of storage space in it as well.I would strongly recommend this book stand to everyone!This items is most efficience there is a wheel at the bottom that permit the hole thing to rotate 306 degrees(which I did not know) the look is beautiful and somewhat robuste! Really happy about it!
